Accessibility Project: Ġnien San Girgor & Child Day Care Centre

Improvements and embellishment works at Gnien San Girgor are now in hand. The focus is on accessibility to Gnien San Girgor from the gate next to the Old People's Day Care and Residence. The old layout was a total obstruction in course and accessibility was next to impossible. Besides Gnien San Girgor the gate provides access too for the Child Day Care Centre, now in the last phase of completion.

The project includes total reconfiguration of the area round the football pitch which will accommodate a 200m running / walking track, toddlers playground and outdoor gym equipment. This project has been partly financed by a € 7,800 grant from the Local Government Department.
