Zejtun awarded funds from the Special Projects Scheme

During a Press conference held in Valletta on the 2nd December 2009, Dr. Chris Said Parliamentary Secretary for Public Dialogue and Information announced that Zejtun was among one of the 19 beneficiaries to benefit from the Local Council's Scheme for Special Projects. When the Scheme was Launched, Zejtun Local Council applied for funds to complete the Child day Care Centre, which has been at a standstill for years due to the lack of funds. The total funds awarded for this project amount to Euro 40,000, thus the Council looks forward to resume with the necessary works in the coming weeks.
